TUGUEGARAO CITY — In celebration of the Fire Prevention Month 2023 with the theme: “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi Ka Nag-iisa”, firefighters from the Bureau of Fire and Protection here in the city conducted a fire drill involving the DA-BFAR R 2 regional office staff as part of the Bureau’s support to the said activity on March 27, 2023 at the DA-BFAR RO2 grounds.
A lecture on Fire Safety in the workplace and even at home and the importance of awareness on how to respond to fire incidents were emphasized by firefighter Irish P. Saguibo in her presentation.
Various fire prevention tips, proper way of handling a fire extinguisher and a fire prevention demonstration were also done during the activity.
Meantime, Atty. Arsenio S. Bañares, Chief of the Fisheries Management Regulatory and Enforcement Division (FMRED) expressed gratitude to the BFP team headed by Chief Inspector Jay-R P. Guillano for sharing their insights and valuable tips that can be applied not only in the workplace but also at home.
Organized by the Finance and Administrative Section, said activity was attended by, SFO1 Irish B. Saguibo, SFO1 Ernesto D. Masiddo, FO2 Herson Ramos, FO2 Analeen Joy F. Lingan, other BFP personnel, and DA-BFAR 2 staff. ###
