TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan — As part of the Bureau’s adherence to Stress Awareness Month this April, personnel handling management positions convened for a one-day Stress Management Course which aims to help staff cope with the demands and pressures of daily life, particularly in the workplace.
The World Health Organization (WHO) defines stress as a state of worry or mental tension caused by a difficult situation.
Further, WHO explains that stress is a natural human response that prompts us to address challenges and threats in our lives. Everyone experiences stress to some degree. The way we respond to stress, however, makes a big difference to our overall well-being.
In his message, RD Angel B. Encarnacion believes that a happy workspace promotes productivity among staff. Also, he emphasized that stress-related problems can lead to physical health diseases, hence the need to manage them.
Said activity was organized by the Bid and Awards Secretariats Section (BAC), Legal and Adjudication Section headed by Atty. Roderick N. Revilloza. A second batch of similar training courses is also in the pipeline which will involve a bigger number of personnel. ###
