In a heartwarming display of solidarity, BFAR Region 1 has extended vital assistance to scholars from BFAR Region 2 who were severely impacted by the recent typhoons and flooding in the Cagayan Valley and surrounding areas. A total of 63 students from Region 2 received immediate relief packages, with 34 scholars from Cagayan State University, 12 from Isabela State University, and 17 from Nueva Vizcaya State University are among the beneficiaries.

BFAR Region 2 Regional Director Angel B. Encarnacion expressed his profound gratitude for the support extended by BFAR Region 1, which acted quickly to mobilize resources and provide the much-needed relief. “I am truly touched by the swift response and generosity of our colleagues in Region 1,” said RD Encarnacion. “Their support has been crucial in helping our scholars during this very difficult time. This act of solidarity demonstrates the strength of our collective efforts, and we are immensely grateful for it.” The scholars, who were understandably shaken by the devastation of the typhoon, expressed their gratitude for the support they received.

The joint effort between BFAR Region 1 and Region 2 is a testament to the power of unity and mutual support during times of crisis and a part of a broader commitment to ensuring that young scholars continue to receive the resources they need to succeed in their academic and professional endeavors.
