Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – In support to the environmental department’s campaign in observance of this year’s Zero Waste Month with the theme “Integrating Sustainability and Circularity into the Informal Waste Sector,”, the fisheries Bureau spearheaded a cleanup activity along its workspaces which was participated by its provincial fishery offices, farms and stations on January 24, 2025. 

The DENR-led activity emphasizes the need for collaboration across sectors to support resource recovery from all types of waste and highlights the critical role of the informal waste sector in building a sustainable future.

The DA-BFAR 2 works in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources in its conservation activities like Clean Up drives, tree-planting activities and other resource management initiatives.
