The DA-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 2 through its Finance and Administrative Section organized a Fire and Earthquake Preparedness Seminar, aiming to equip employees with essential knowledge on disaster readiness. The seminar featured expert speaker from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), SFO2 Teresita O. Yague, who emphasized the importance of being prepared for both fire and earthquake emergencies.
Throughout the event, attendees participated in hands-on activities, including fire and earthquake drills, to practice what they had learned and to better understand the necessary safety measures during such calamities.
Meantime, Regional Director Angel B. Encarnacion expressed his sincere gratitude to the BFP for sharing their valuable expertise. He underscored the importance of disaster preparedness and urged all participants to apply the knowledge gained in ensuring their safety and the well-being of their communities.
