Manila, Metro Manila — Career Scientists from the DA-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 2 (DA-BFAR 2) are participating in the 47th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) taking place on July 9 to 10, 2025 at the Manila Hotel, Manila.

DA-BFAR 2 Regional Director Dr. Angel B. Encarnacion, Training Division Chief Dr. Evelyn Ame, and Agricultural Center Chief II Dr. Emma L. Ballad, all Career Scientists, joined hundreds of science-driven professionals and researchers across the country in this prestigious gathering organized by the Department of Science and Technology – National Academy of Science and Technology.

The ASM serves as a national platform for scientific dialogue aimed at addressing pressing societal and developmental issues through evidence-based research and innovation with this year’s theme centered on “Bioscience Innovations: Transforming Enterprise Ecosystems for Wealth Creation.”
