In celebration of the 62nd Fish Conservation Week, the DA-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 02 (DA-BFAR 2) hosted a vibrant and heartwarming reunion on September 15, 2025 at the MIS Hall, DA-BFAR 2, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan bringing together past and present personnel in a joyful gathering themed “Agos ng Panahon, Kaagapay ang Pamilyang BFAR.”

The event served as a meaningful bridge between generations of employees, retirees, former staff, and current personnel—coming together not only to reminisce shared memories but also to exchange experiences and insights vital for continuing the agency’s mission of sustainable fisheries and aquatic resource management.

Lively performances filled the hall with energy, from soulful singing to spirited dance numbers. The celebration was a true display of camaraderie and joy, reflective of BFAR 2’s enduring family spirit.

Adding prestige to the event were former Directors, RD Jovita Ayson, RD Milagros Morales and RD Rebecca Dang-awan who graciously joined the celebration. Their presence reminded everyone of the agency’s legacy of leadership and its continued commitment to conservation through collaboration and mentorship.

The reunion culminated in a spirited fellowship that highlighted the unbroken bond within the DA-BFAR 2 family—strong, vibrant, and steadfast through the passage of time. (Lolan Alcarion, FAS-HRMU)
